The origin of beauty.

THE DESIGNERS

BEAUTY TAKES SHAPE.

The elegance of Italian design merges with the strength of German engineering and craftsmanship in DEUTZ-FAHR tractors. The vision of Giorgetto and Fabrizio Giugiaro, founders of the creative studio GFG STYLE, joined forces with the expertise of our engineers to create machines that are not only efficient and reliable but also thoughtfully designed- where form and function exist in perfect harmony.

The pursuit of beauty

The creative process that brings together engineers, planners, and designers in shaping DEUTZ-FAHR lines is both flexible and meticulous, unfolding across five crucial stages.

THE CREATIVE PROCESS

BRIEF

DEUTZ-FAHR design is more than style: it starts with placing the farmer at its core with ergonomic solutions that simplify, safeguard and streamline every task. Engineers provide designers with a detailed brief, including the “technical volume”- a precise set of data and functional specifications that the new machine must meet.

THE CREATIVE PROCESS

Proposals

Starting from the technical brief, designers develop initial 3D aesthetic proposals, blending futuristic trends, brand identity, innovative, and smart agriculture solutions - working hand in hand with engineers to identify the best path forward.

MOCKUP

Once the final concept is chosen, a full-scale 3D model is created to closely evaluate form, proportions, and overall impact.

PROTOTIPO

Next, the spotlight turns to the mechanical stage: a complete, precise, fully functional prototype is built and brought to life as the very first unit from the production line.

PRODUCTION

It’s time for the production team to take over: the industrialisation phase begins, and a new tractor is ready to work in fields around the world.

WHEN FUNCTIONALITY BECOMES ART

A DEUTZ-FAHR tractor is instantly recognizable: the distinctiveness of Italian design is evident in every detail, even in functional components. This attention to detail has been celebrated by technical juries worldwide, earning our models some of the most prestigious awards in style and design. The journey reached a remarkable milestone when the DEUTZ-FAHR 9340 TTV WARRIOR was exhibited on Fifth Avenue in New York, right at the entrance of the Guggenheim Museum, during the “Countryside, The Future” exhibition - an honor that goes beyond awards, placing the tractor in the heart of the art world. Other recognitions include the Red Dot Product Design Award, the Compasso d’Oro, the Golden Tractor for Design, Tractor of the Year – Best Design, and the German Design Award.
